One minor correction: Eligibility-wise, Dustin Penner is a junior. He'll
have one more year as a Black Bear, and the way he's been improving, it should
be quite a year.
The truly exciting thing about this year's freshman class is that there more
of them sitting in the stands as healthy scratches. Last night, we saw Penner
(a first-year player, although a junior), Leveille, Hamilton, Jankus,
Johnson, and Shepheard at forward and Lundeen and Mushaluk (also a first-year player,
and a sophomore). Soares and Aquino are right behind the other first-year
forwards, and Zabkowicz has played most of the games on defense.
