Good Morning All,

I am doing another poll, GIS day<http://www.gisday.com/about.html> is November 19th this year. Are any of you planning to volunteer in your local school system to encourage and expand the children's knowledge of geography and the opportunities in GIS careers?

This is a great opportunity to raise awareness of your company in your community whether it is a profit or non-profit entity. The job outlook for geographers is projected to increase by 29% between 2012 and 2022.<http://www.bls.gov/ooh/life-physical-and-social-science/geographers.htm> Start growing your own recruits by participating in GIS day at your local elementary or high school.

Please let me know if you are thinking of participating!
