BANGOR_2009 is a new OGC-compliant web mapping service (available from
the
http://mapserver.maine.gov/wms/mapserv.exe?map=c:/wms/orthos_muni.map&
service) that provides half-foot color orthophotography of the City of
Bangor, Maine. Photo Dates are November 2009, with a re-fly in the
downtown area in April 2010. Vendor for these orthophotos (as well as a
concurrent planimetric mapping project) was James Sewall Company of Old
Town, Maine. This new service has not been added to the MEGIS
Orthoviewer at this time but image downloads are available as links from
the INDEX_BANGOR09 shapefile that can be downloaded.
