Great News Everyone,
Quantum has completed acquisition of LiDAR data in the 2015 Target area. (map attached)
The USGS schedule for data processing and delivery is bulleted below

* "According to QSI's schedule, the USGS will receive the data NLT 2/28/2016.

* Typically our QA unit will get through a dataset of this size within 30 days.

* Depending on any required corrections to the data, you could see it by the end of March.

* In the delivery schedule, the final accepted data and documentation is to be ready for the customer by April 30, 2016.

Allowing for time for us to receive and post data the standard deliverable (digital elevation models) it should be available from our offices by the end of May 2016.

It will take us awhile longer to create hillshade and contour data for our on line maps( http://mapserver.maine.gov/basemap/index.html ) and data catalog (http://www.maine.gov/megis/catalog/ )

Have a fabulous Friday!!
