Subject: MEGUG Utility GIS Meeting - January 21, 2011

 

 

October 22, 2010 

MEGUG's next event will be focused on utility applications of GIS and
will be held in Gardiner at the EJ Prescott Facility on January 21st,
2011.  The Program Committee will be meeting next week to begin planning
the meeting, so please contact Angela Brady ([log in to unmask]
<mailto:[log in to unmask]> ) by Wednesday October 27th if you have a
topic you would like to present or have ideas for the agenda.

 

Soon after this meeting will be the Maine Municipal Association
Technology Conference at the Bangor Civic Center on March 3rd which is
co-sponsored by MEGUG.  This meeting is focused around municipal
applications of GIS and we'd love to hear your ideas for this agenda as
well.

 

If you'd like to take part in planning either of these meetings with the
Program Committee or help out on any of our other standing committees,
please contact Jane ([log in to unmask]). 

 

Standing Committees

*        Program Committee - develops and carries out the programs for
all meetings

*        Publicity Committee - maintains the website

*        Membership Committee - solicits and tracks membership

*        Sponsorship Committee - generates and manages sponsorship of
group activities

*        Scholarship Committee - reviews scholarship applications

*        Nominating Committee - used to fill positions on the Board of
Directors
