Hello all,

The GIS Strategic Plan Update under development in 2008 for the Maine
GeoLibrary Board has been published in 1st draft form. This draft document
and supporting appendices have been posted online and can be accessed
through http://www.maine.gov/geolib/

The plan is posted for a 15 day review and comment period and the GeoLibrary
Board would like to hear from you. If you have any comments or feedback on
the draft strategic plan please send to my attention ([log in to unmask])
before COB Tuesday January 20th. All feedback will be taken into
consideration by the project team and the Strategic Plan will then be
revised, finalized, and published.

This plan will serve as an important guide for future data development, GIS
projects, and funding priorities and feedback is both welcome and very
important. Many of you have participated in shaping this document already,
and your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for any feedback on the draft plan.
