*Adena Schutzberg, Esri*
Adena Schutzberg has been involved in geography and GIS for 25 years. She’s
provided consulting services as part of a large firm and independently,
taught in the classroom and online, worked on software product and
marketing teams, and written extensively on geography education and GIS
technology. She’s currently an education specialist on Esri’s Learn ArcGIS
Team focused on developing and enhancing teaching and learning resources
for K-university students and educators.
*Allen Carroll, Esri*
Allen founded the story maps team at Esri. Prior to joining Esri in 2010,
he worked at National Geographic for 27 years in a variety of positions,
including art director of National Geographic Magazine and chief
cartographer at National Geographic Maps.
*Edward R. Tufte*
Edward R. Tufte is Professor Emeritus of Political Science, Statistics, and
Computer Science. His research concerns statistical evidence and scientific
visualization. He is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association, the
American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the Society for Technical
Communication. He has received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation
and the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Science, and has been
awarded seven honorary Doctorates. His publications include Visual
Explanations; Envisioning Information; The Visual Display of Quantitative
Information; Political Control of the Economy; Data Analysis for Politics
