Your observation is common when querying a large dataset and selecting GeoJSON output format.  You may be able to reconstruct your query to work.  Maybe.  It depends, somewhat on the host system settings. Instead, consume the feature service or download the FGDB.

Hello! I'm relatively new to GIS and was looking to  pull some of the Maine State data via their GeoJSON API.   That said when I query the endpoint I only ever receive 2,000 records.   Does anyone happen to know if there is a "pagination"

I'm relatively new to GIS and was looking to  pull some of the Maine State data via their GeoJSON API.  That said when I query the endpoint I only ever receive 2,000 records.  Does anyone happen to know if there is a "pagination" feature or any way to programmatically retrieve the entire dataset via this API service?
