Spatial Apps - Have you ever created one?
During the final seconds of Tora Johnson's presentation and at the tail
end of the MEGUG Fall meeting last Friday, she suggested ways to get
students to dive into creating spatially aware content including
interactive content for mobile devices. I'm curious if any recipients on
the GEOLIBRARY listserv have actually done this and briefly, any advice
on tackling this intriguing subject.
/Test Fodder - A walking tour of historical locations in Bar Harbor/
The idea struck a chord with me as I've played around with doing
something similar using JavaScript via a simple document
(http://panocea.us/images/mits1/mits1.htm). My test subject was the Bar
Harbor installation of The Museum In The Streets
<http://www.themuseuminthestreets.com/maine_towns.html>, but interest
with the idea waned as my frustration with JavaScript waxed.
Thank you for any response.
Kind regards,
Kelly
