Dear Colleagues,

I'm delighted to announce that we will be offering our Intro to GPS and GIS
I courses this summer in a low residency format, blending a short,
intensive on-campus component with the convenience of online learning. All
students pay in-state tuition for summer courses, so please pass this onto
colleagues out of state. You can just take courses, or use them to get
started on our accelerated certificate program.

Summer is the best time to visit Downeast Maine, and students can bring
family along for summer programs and take advantage of the spectacular
setting. Stay in affordable residence halls and eat in the dining hall.
Kids can take advantage of UMM's summer camps, or family can explore the
region while you learn. Evening activities include the whole family!

Brief descriptions and dates for upcoming summer courses are below. For
more info on courses and programs, visit:
http://machias.edu/gis-program.html.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me anytime. Also,
like the UMM GIS Program on Facebook to receive news, announcements and fun
