We're looking for part-time instructors to teach evening courses on Spatial Database Analysis and Design and also Remote Sensing for spring 2018. Please circulate. Details below:


 *   Adjunct Faculty of Spatial Database Analysis and Design (graduate) for Spring 2018
Salem State University is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach a graduate course on the analysis and design of spatial databases within the Geo-Information Science Graduate Program<https://www.salemstate.edu/academics/colleges-and-schools/college-arts-and-sciences/geography/master-science-geo-information> in spring 2018.  Experience with spatial database software and a thorough understanding of  spatial database structures, design (including Structured Query Language (SQL)), implementation, and maintenance are required. The ability to teach using leading software such as ESRI's Desktop and Enterprise (ArcSDE) Geodatabases or PostgreSQL/PostGIS is required. Class will run Thursday evenings at 6:30pm beginning January 18, 2018.

Experience with remote sensing analysis software and a thorough understanding of remote sensing science, image processing, and data analytic procedures are strongly desired. The ability to teach using leading software such as ERDAS Imagine, ENVI, and/or IDRISI is required. Class will run Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm beginning January 16, 2018.
