Good morning all,
For those of us who grew up here it was never lost, but the link below helps explain one of the values LiDAR brings to us.

If you are familiar with LiDAR this is nothing new and it doesn't explain the technical side much but it does illustrate the difference between traditional imagery and high res topography.
