The Maine Office of GIS and the Maine GeoLibrary Board are pleased to
provide another muncipal ortho web mapping service (WMS) for public
consumption. This one contains 6-inch resolution orthophotos from April
21st and April 26th, 2006, for coastal towns between Saco and Bath.

This service is a sister service to the previously-released Portland
3-inch 2006 data and together they provide coverage for the region.

The following towns are covered by these orthos:
Bath
Brunswick
Cape Elizabeth
Cumberland
Falmouth
Freeport
Gorham
Old Orchard Beach
Saco
Scarborough
South Portland
Topsham
Westbrook
Windham
Yarmouth

There are three known data gaps, the biggest is in Windham, with two
others that are minor gaps between orthophoto tiles in Yarmouth (Cousins
Island) and Portland (shoals SW of Mackworth Island).

The services can be accessed from this web page:
http://www.maine.gov/geolib/wms.htm. Let me know if you have any
problems with this or any other WMS we provide.
