The New England Chapter of the Urban & Regional Information Systems Association (NEURISA) will host its annual NEURISA Day conference onMonday, October 16, 2017.  This one day conference will include a keynote session, exhibitors, and presentations from professionals in the GIS community.

NEURISA will give cash awards for first place ($100) and free NEURISA Day 2018 registration for second place entries with the highest scores in two categories: Best Poster and Best Web Based/Mobile Application. NEURISA will announce the winners during the Annual NEURISA Day Conference at the Great Wolf Lodge in Fitchburg, MA on October 16, 2017 (Winners Must be Present!).

All entries will be voted on by using peer ballots at the conference.  Attendees will be asked to select their top 2 choices for entries in each category.  Entrants will be responsible for registration, arriving early, setting up posters, or computer station for sharing their web based/mobile application with attendees.  Submissions in either category should be digital, poster submissions must bring hard copies to the conference.  Submissions are limited to government agencies, academic institutions and non-profits.  One entry per-person.  All those submitting entries must register for our annual conference to win.  Winners will be announced at the NEURISA Day Social Following the Conference.

In addition to networking and hearing relevant presentations, conference attendees will get to spend a few minutes in one-on-one conversations with participating geospatial vendors as a means to build introductions and discover mutual business or professional interests. If you are submitting a presentation and your presentation is chosen for the conference, you will receive a code enabling the Presenter Rate.
