The Maine GIS User Group is proud to announce that our fall conference will
be held on September 26, 2008 at the University of Maine at Presque Isle
(UMPI).  Ken Murchison GIS Specialist with the Northern Maine Development
Commission is developing the program and coordinating activities with staff
and faculty at UMPI.  Presentations will focus on energy, emergency
management, new geospatial data, E911 addressing and the Geolibrary's
research concerning a statewide integrated land records information system.
A complete agenda will be published on our website soon.  This is shaping up
to be a very informative session so mark your calendars.  i hope to see you
there.
