Ben Treat, Director of the Nottage Library on the University of Maine at
Augusta's Bangor Campus; and Shiva Darbandi, Coordinator of Off-campus
Library Services, will be here on Monday, September 30th from 1 - 2 PM in
room 7. I urge ALL UNIVERSITY SYSTEM STUDENTS to attend and learn about the
services and materials available to you , because you *WILL* be using
library resources for coursework. Please feel free to bring a brown bag
lunch!
Also mark your calendars for *Friday, October 18th, from 12:00 - 1:00 pm *for
a workshop about research skills for college students. Ben Treat and Shiva
Darbandi will share *important research skills* such as finding and using
on-line resources; plagiarism and how to avoid it; and basics of citing
sources. Bring a brown bag lunch and get the information you need to
research safely and successfully!
