Ben Treat, Director of the Nottage Library on the University of Maine at Augusta's Bangor Campus; and Shiva Darbandi, Coordinator of Off-campus Library Services, will be here on Monday, September 30th from 1 - 2 PM in room 7. I urge ALL UNIVERSITY SYSTEM STUDENTS to attend and learn about the services and materials available to you , because you WILL be using library resources for coursework.  Please feel free to bring a brown bag lunch!

Also mark your calendars for Friday, October 18th, from 12:00 - 1:00 pm for a workshop about research skills for college students.  Ben Treat and Shiva Darbandi will share important research skills such as finding and using on-line resources; plagiarism and how to avoid it; and basics of citing sources.  Bring a brown bag lunch and get the information you need to research safely and successfully!
