Shirley Adams has completed her through hike of the Appalachian Trail!
According to Margaret Getchell, she arrived at Baxter State Park on Saturday
(Oct 4), but was forced to wait until Wed (Oct 8) to summit Katahdn, due to
the fact that BSP had closed down all the Katahdn trails due to ice and
snow.
