As I recall, Tommy Nevers led Edina H.S in scoring as a ninth grader, or
was at least in the top three.  He then led the team in scoring for three
years.  He certainly looked as if he was a can't miss prospect. Because of
age he has only two years left of eligibility. Regardless of how little he
has played this year, he will only have one year left.  Doug Woog has
enough problems convincing Freshmen to stay on, so there is little benefit
to putting Nevers in the lineup.
