 My esteemed colleague Carol White (Hi, Carol!) points out that it has been a
 LONG TIME since I posted something to the list, so here is a bit of news:
 
 Former Gopher goaltender and Hobey Baker award-winner Robb Stauber has been
 sent down to New Haven by the L.A. Kings. I suppose he will re-emerge later in
 the season, but it has been frustrating waiting for him to get a shot at the
 big time.
