Thanks John.  To answer your question, Pound is certainly not sympathetic to Ha
rding in the letters he wrote to Borah.  For example, in 1933, Pound writes abo
ut "the universal stink of Harding/Hoover/Mellondom," and in 1935 he writes tha
t "the U.S. wd/ have been happier had Harding, Coolidge and especially fat Herb
ie, been shot at birth."
