rding in the letters he wrote to Borah.  For example, in 1933, Pound writes abo
ut "the universal stink of Harding/Hoover/Mellondom," and in 1935 he writes tha
t "the U.S. wd/ have been happier had Harding, Coolidge and especially fat Herb
