Up north, while on a "working" vacation, I happened to stumble upon a
"Giant Quiz Book" circa 1938.* Its pages discolored and tattered from
advancing age, this book nevertheless still contains a few hundred
quizzes. Seeing it inspired an idea: why not take old questions from an
old book and use them in a modern quiz? It would be one of those fun
larks. Also, it doesn't quite permit us to be lazy and irresponsible yet
again because we did take the time to write the answer choices.
