SOUTHERN MAINE ASTRONOMERS MEETING

at the Southworth Planetarium
Free and open to the public

Following the July 4 Independence Day celebrations please come join us for
our afterglow meeting entitled"...and the Rockets Red Glare ..." talking
about real rockets! We'll have Karl Hoose, CEO of Valt Enterprises of
Sanford, ME discussing his development of ram jet rockets to lift small
payloads (e.g., cube sats) intro orbit, and our own Paul Howell showcasing
amateur rocketry at Bowdoin College. From small to large it should be an
explosively good time! Meeting starts at 7pm at the Southworth Planetarium
on Falmouth St on the USM campus in Portland. We'll also have refreshments
and our usual meeting content. Hope to see you then!
