And yet Pound often seems to support brutal force and agression. On the high end, in Canto 72, for example, he will sing of the "eternal war/between light and mud." But on the lower, he will accept the need for armed struggle, and take for himself the position of the scop, singing the deeds of the Fascist warrior, who, dead, longs to return to warfare rather than ascend to paradise. As scop, Pound suggests that the Fascist warrior can do both. He can return to battle by assuming the body of "some young chap, flaccid and half-wit" i.e., a body to use for war because it is not being put to any other good use, and then, rather than die old in bed, die as a warrior, having the glory of ascending to paradise to the sound of trumpets. The canto ends with the sense that the will to war, to armed struggle, is strong enough to both survive and inhabit many generations, and with a prophesy for the future of the failing Fascist effort:
The regiments and the bannets will return.

just one example.

How can you give your support to a brutal force agression?

if you are in this list, it means that you have read something by Pound.
probably you should read him all over again and understand what are the
real reasons of this war.
