This is a reminder that tomorrow (Fri, 3/12), Brenda McAleer will offer a
program information session at URock about the associate and bachelor’s
degrees in Business Administration at 10:00AM. Anyone interested in
learning about careers, internships and program requirements is welcome.
On Wednesday, March 24, we are organizing a trip for URock students to the
Maine State House in Augusta to watch the legislative process in action. As
guests of Speaker Hannah Pingree, Senator Chris Rector and State Reps Ed
Mazurek, Chuck Kruger and Joan Welsh, we will get a tour of the beautiful
capitol building, and sit in on Maine House and Senate sessions. We will
have lunch in the State House cafeteria. Departure will be from URock at
7:15AM (this is during spring break week) and we’ll return around 2:00PM.
Car pooling encouraged. Sign up to ride or drive at the URock front desk.
It’s all free; just bring your lunch money.
