*Expressions Night This Friday*

Expressions Night is set for Friday, November 18th. Frank Pavalkis is
pulling this event together on behalf of URock’s Honors Program. Email

refreshments will be served compliments of the URock SA.

*Breakfast with Santa!*

The URock Student Association will sponsor you and your family (up to 2
adults and 2 children) to attend *Breakfast with Santa* at the Red Jacket
at the Tradewinds in Rockland on Sunday, November 27 from 9 – 11:00AM.
Please pick up your *free* tickets at the URock front desk and Ho! Ho! HO!

*URock Hours for Thanksgiving Week*

URock will be closed Wed, Nov 23rd through Sunday, Nov. 27th for the
Thanksgiving break. Please note that make-up exams will* **only* be held
next week on Tuesday, Nov 22 at 8:00AM.

*Rockland Main Street Seeks URock Volunteers*

Every year a few students help out at the Festival Of Lights
Parade<http://www.rocklandmainstreet.com/Default.aspx?pageId=815220>on
Saturday, November 26th at 6:00PM. Volunteers organize floats for the
parade and manage the night’s festivities. This can be a lot of fun! URock
volunteers will be rewarded with a gift of a *URock fleece beanie hat.* If

at Rockland Main Street <[log in to unmask]>. Thanks for helping to
make this community event a great success.

*Donate Some Non-Perishable Food Items*

There is a shopping basket from Hannaford set up in the front lobby. Please
bring in some non-perishable food items as a donation for the Food Pantry.
When you donate, enter the drawing to win a gift certificate to Hannaford.

*Spring Semester Registration is Open!*

Self service registration is underway! Check the spring 2012 semester

the URock site for the most up to date registration information,
including campus calendars, links to the Distance Learning Class Search and
ways to put courses on your wish list from all UMS campuses. Advising

Meehan<[log in to unmask]>are available by calling the URock
front office at 596-6906.

If bad weather forces us to cancel classes, you will find the most up to

You can also call the URock office for an updated recorded message.
Generally, classes are canceled two hours before their start times.

*Financial Aid Reminders*

Please remember to adjust your enrollment in Maine Street if you are
changing the number of credit hours from what was expected of you for the
spring term. Also for those of you who filed a SAP appeal for fall,
remember that you are under contract with financial aid to meet certain
academic standards. If you will not meet those, there is yet another appeal
process but you must demonstrate extraordinary circumstances.
