*Beware! Rte #1 Construction!*

AS you have probably noticed, traffic around the Breakwater Building has
gotten worse with construction. The main water pipe will be replaced
between MacDonald’s and our building. Delayed traffic is expected. Our best
advice is for you to avoid the intersection at MacDonald’s. Take Old County
Road and approach URock from the north side of Rte #1 and enter the parking
lot from Fales Street. Please allow extra time.

*Applying to Graduate School Workshop*

Hosted at URock on Thursday, June 27 from 3:00 – 4:30PM, this free workshop
will offer guidance about all the ins and outs of choosing a program and
applying to graduate school. Please call URock to sign up.

*URock’s Upcoming Hours*

URock’s hours are a bit different during the summer session. For Summer
Session I, we will be open from 7AM until 7PM on Mondays and Wednesdays. On
Tuesdays and Thursdays, the office will close at 7:00PM but the campus will
remain open until 9:45PM. On Fridays, both the office and the campus will
close at 4:00PM. *Please note that URock will close promptly on July 1 at
7:00PM as the work begins to connect us to the new water main pipe. We will
also be closed both Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5 as work continues.*

*Upcoming Proctored Testing*

Iif you need to take an exam other than during its regularly scheduled
time, you will need to schedule your test through the URock front office.
Our normal hours are Tuesdays at 8AM or Thursdays at 4PM. *There will be
changes the week of July 4th when testing will occur on Monday, July 1 at
8:00AM and Wednesday, July 3 at 4:00PM.* A photo ID is required and, in
many cases, instructor permission. Sorry but Friday testing is not
available in the summer.

*Rockland Adult Ed will offer a College Transitions Program July 15 – 18*

This program running from 9:00AM to noon serves prospective university
students who want to attend URock in the fall but who want some “brush up”
help with math and language arts. Contact Rockland Adult Ed. for more info
at 594-9764.
