The Maine Centers for Woman, Work and Community is offering an
8-session *Creating
Your Future: Career Planning for the new

*10/24* at University college. The course meets on Mondays and Wednesdays

On Wednesday, *10/26*, *Patten Free Library

will host an introductory presentation on *Learning
Express*<http://www.maine.gov/msl/commons/index.shtml>,
a new on-line teaching and information resource available to all Maine
citizens. Â The presentation is free, open to the public, and will begin at
6:00 pm at the PFL. Learning Express is a powerful tool which provides
quick, easy access to professional test prep tools, software tutorials, job
search resourses and many other online informational resources.

Fair*, Thursday, *10/27*, 2-7 pm, Curtis Memorial Library, Brunswick. The
event features more than 40 nonprofits (environment, youth, hunger
prevention, health, literacy, arts, animal welfare, elders, education &
