Please remember to renew your *FAFSA <http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/>* for the
2011-2012 financial aid year by *2/15*. Renewing by this priority deadline
will allow you to be fully considered for all forms of aid and to also
receive an award offer earlier.

*Apply for the Competitive Skills Scholarship*

The Competitive Skills Scholarship Program
(CSSP)<http://www.mainecareercenter.com/services-programs/training/cssp/index.shtml>helps
workers learn new skills and succeed in a changing economy. The
program is open to all qualified Maine residents and pays for education for
jobs in demand in Maine. Applications are expected to be available beginning
2/1 and the deadline is *2/15*.

We are recruiting volunteers and students who have a work-study award to
staff our business office. Volunteers are eligible to earn a three credit

Join *Shelley Taylor*, Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community, on
Thursday, *1/27* from 6:30 to 7:30 pm to learn about a* federal matched
savings account* program that can help pay for education, buy a home, or
start a business. Qualified individuals may apply to open a Family
Development Account (FDA) so that every dollar saved can be matched by four
