*The message below is applicable to all who wish to apply for any E-Rate on
their own for Funding Year 2024 (meaning filing for E-Rate for products and
services other than those that Networkmaine provides its members):*


The deadline to file an FY2024 Form 470 is fast approaching with just one
week remaining.

E-Rate applicants cannot receive any E-Rate funding without (1) a Form 470
to launch the competitive bidding process for an eligible product or
service followed by (2) a Form 471 filed no earlier than 28 days later to
request E-Rate discounts to offset a portion of the costs for that product
or service.

*The last day that you can file a Form 470 and leave yourself enough time
to wait 28 days before signing a contract and still be able to file a Form
471 before the Form 471 filing window closes is February 28.*
