If you intend to file for E-Rate for FY2018, the time has arrived to start
your prep in earnest.

USAC has just announced the opening of the FY2018 Administrative Window.

*This is your only opportunity to update NSLP and enrollment numbers in EPC
before profiles are locked when the FY2018 Form 471 Filing Window opens.*

During the Administrative Window, independent schools and school districts
must update their EPC profiles for the following:

   - the data used to calculate E-Rate discounts (total students and total
   eligible for NSLP) - for best results use the lunch data from October 2017
   reported to the Department of Education and/or the data reported to
   Networkmaine on an Alternative Discount Mechanism form)
   - organization relationships such as the list of schools belonging to a
   district

Contact me directly for assistance if you are aware of any structural
changes to your organization (e.g. split or merged school districts, new
schools, or schools that will be closed effective July 1, 2018).

Although a specific deadline is not available at this time, this update
period is expected to close sometime in January.

Complete instructions for logging into EPC and updating the NSLP data in
your profile are attached.
