The deadline for filing and having your service provider certify any Form
472 BEARs for FY2013-2014 is October 28, 2014.

As previously discussed, USAC used to grant an extension unasked, but under
the new E-Rate Modernization rules you must now ask for one. A single 120
day extension will be automatically granted *only* *upon request on or
before the invoice deadline*.

If at this point you have any outstanding BEARs from FY2013-2014 or BEARs
that you have completed but your service provider has not yet certified, I
suggest that you play it safe by requesting an invoice extension from USAC
for all active FY2013-2014 FRNs for which invoices have not yet been
submitted *AND* approved.

Remember, your BEAR is not considered complete until the service provider
certifies it.
