UMA campus network access has been restored, and all affected services are
once again operational.  The cause was a fault in optical equipment that
provides the campus uplink.  Further work to identify the root cause of
that fault is continuing.  No further outage is expected.

If you are experiencing any ongoing issues that you believe to be related
to this outage, please contact Networkmaine for assistance.  Note some
devices may need to be restarted to restore access now that the network is
available.
