We are seeking leaders who are committed to improving civil discourse and who would like to apply the Better Arguments framework. Applications are due on Monday, February 28. The Better Arguments Project is a national civic initiative created to help bridge divides - not by papering over those divides but by helping people have Better Arguments. Many individuals have recognized the need to heal schisms, repair the social fabric, and restore trust and civility to public discourse. We believe civic life doesn't need fewer arguments; it needs better arguments. We aim to make that possible. The Ambassador Program will take place over a series of nine unique modules. Each module will train participants in the Better Arguments Project's approach for productive and empathetic disagreement and will be built around dialogue and peer-to-peer learning. Upon the conclusion of the program, each Ambassador will be tasked with implementing a capstone project designed to bring Better Arguments to their respective communities and will be given seed funding to assist.
