Good day! Please excuse cross-postings. On behalf of the Association for Rural & Small Libraries [ARSL]:

“Deadline Extended for the Association for Rural and Small Libraries (ARSL) Leadership Institute Applications

After receiving several requests for individual extensions the ARSL Leadership Institute<https://www.arsl.org/arsl-leadership-institute> team has made the decision to extend the application deadline for all candidates by one week. Applications will now be due on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 by 3:00 pm PT / 4:00 pm MT / 5:00 pm CT / 6:00 pm ET.

The ARSL Leadership Institute is a unique opportunity for library workers in small and rural libraries to receive leadership development training that’s designed with their unique needs in mind. Through intentional mentorship, hands-on learning at the 2024 and 2025 ARSL conferences, and online learning sessions with subject matter experts the ARSL Leadership Institute will help to elevate the impact of rural and small libraries nationwide by cultivating passionate, thoughtful library leaders who care deeply about the communities they serve.

There is no direct cost to participate in the Institute, and significant support will be available to assist with travel and lodging expenses related to the two ARSL Conferences participants will be expected to attend.

Still not convinced the ARSL Leadership Institute is right for you? Reach out to us at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> to learn more!
