Those MYD files are MySQL data files. If you have a MySQL server
available, you can start a new database by creating an empty folder in the
MySQL data folder and dumping the MYD files in to that folder. This is
what I do when I need to keep logs around for an indefinite time period.
You can then use PHPMyAdmin or a home grown application to browse the files
at a later date.
