To run the Regionals in one location, you'd need a minimum of two arenas.
In Pittsburgh, Robert Morris' rink isn't big but it is nearby, and Erie is
only a couple of hours away and just finished hosting the women's FF.
Johnstown (which currently hosts a Junior team) isn't super-far away
either. So, to me there would have been options even if PPG Paints arena
wasn't available.
