Not to take away from Dr. Roth's excellent points, "The 100 Yard Lie" was
written by former Northwestern football player and current Sport
Illustrated writer Rick Telander, who also wrote "Red Ink to Roses",
covering a year in the life of the Wisconsin athletic department.
Personally, having also lettered in Division I football, I agreed with
Telander's book.  But that isn't related to hockey.
 
Yaeger, if I remember correctly, was a former NCAA investigator.  A
kiss-and-tell book from a disgruntled former employee?  You tell me.
