Dirceu Villa,

I'm also an MA student working with Chinese literature and modernism.

I was wondering if you feel that Pound's idea of Chinese writing, via
Fenollosa, stole the fire from the Sinologists and established a discourse
for people like Eisenstein and later Derrida in their critiques of Western
representation? Do you think this line of questioning is worth pursuing? Is
this a tired and beat horse?

Thanks for your help,
James
