Does anyone thank the gods that someone (Pound) has given modern poetry
backbone and substance (albiet however dark, controversial, and topically
and temporally fitting [I'm sure it would have been difficult to believe in
a Marxist Pound]), in the face of such whimsical creampuffs (to use a
Poundian coinage) as Houseman and Frost?
