I thought that some Poundians out there might be interested in the Basic Income Guarantee (BIG for short) movement.  These people, like the social credit folks, claim to transcend the differences between the political right and the political left,
and at least some members trace their lineage from the early-1920s people who developed the idea of the "social dividend," including Major Douglas. For more information you might want to check out the website of the group:
