Quiz: The World

Yes, we realize that is quite a large topic for a single quiz! The
world is, admittedly, quite a big place. Moreover, the word "world"
has various meanings. It can refer to an entire planet, such as
Earth. Or, it can refer to a political entity such as the world of
peoples, their cultures, divides, and interactions. Also, the word
"world" can be assigned to any collection of people, places or things
"Sea World," "the World of Birds," or "Taffy World!" Granted, the
last one is a bit of a stretch...

Today's quiz focuses on the world called "Earth." Its geology, some
of its most notable cultural features, even its history, both human
and natural. For those who yearn to experience the worlds
within the world, this world quiz should prove to be a whirlwind of
wonders!
