*RE:  Potential Jamf 200 Training*

ACTEM is considering hosting a Jamf 200 certification training course this
Winter or Spring.  The Jamf 200 private group classes are now being held
virtually.

Typically, Jamf likes to have these pieces of training hosted by a school
district or group like ACTEM.

*What’s different in the virtual course?*

   - The course runs over 5 days vs 4 days for the in-person class
   - Registered attendees will need to provide hardware (both the unmanaged
   demo MacOS and iOS) for the course (Specific hardware requirements will be
   provided)

*What’s Included?*

   - Five days (9 AM - 5 PM each day) of virtual classroom interaction.
   - Jamf provided Server infrastructure.
   - Digital course materials.
   - Proctored certification exam during the afternoon on the fifth day.
   - Jamf Certified Tech badge on your Jamf Nation profile (upon
   successfully completing the exam with a passing score).

*Cost?*

Jamf offers the 200 level training at a *cost of $2,500 per participant *with
a maximum of 12 attendees per training.
ACTEM will be offering the course at the following *reduced registration
rates:*


   - *$2,250 *for NON-MEMBERS
   - *$1,850 *for CURRENT ACTEM MEMBERS

ACTEM is willing to sponsor a Jamf 200 training if we can get a  *commitment
for a **minimum of 10 participants*.


*Potential Dates:*


   - Week of March 15-19, 2021
   - Week of April 5-9, 2021
   - Week of June 7-11, 2021

Jamf training requires a large financial commitment from ACTEM’s to
sponsor a training.  The above survey will help ACTEM determine if there is
enough interest in sponsoring a Jamf 200 course for Maine educators.

*UPDATE:*  As of this date only two school districts have expressed an
interest in the Jamf 200 training.  If you are interested please complete
the survey at the above link by Jan. 18, 2021.
*THIS IS JUST A SURVEY TO DETERMINE INTEREST. *
A registration link will be sent if enough people (10 minimum) can commit
to the training on the same week.
