On Friday morning at the ACTEM Conference Dennis Crowe announced a new
ACTEM member benefit, an OverDrive eBook and Audiobook collection.

In case you missed it or forgot the URL for our collection can be found on
the ACTEM Website <http://www.actem.org/> or accessed here
<https://actemme.libraryreserve.com/10/45/en/SignIn.htm?url=Default.htm>.

When you visit the site you'll only need the email address that you used to
join ACTEM to enter (no passwords required). You may borrow up to two books
at a time for up to three weeks. You can also place a hold on any book that
is already checked out.

We intend to continue to cultivate this collection. If you search for a
book within the collection that we do not currently have you can suggest
that it be purchased. We are limited to the publishers that OverDrive works
with so we can not get any title that is available on Amazon.

Some of the publishers we've purchased from so far include:

   - Dave Burgess Publishing
   - ISTE
   - ASCD
   - O'Reilly Media
   - Corwin
   - Maker Media
   - Solution Tree Press
   - and more...

You may notice that none of the Ed Tech Team Press books are currently in
the collection. Ed Tech Team is currently working with OverDrive to get
their books added. We'll add many of those books once they become available.

It is ACTEM's wish to continue to support professional learning for its
members. Enjoy the new collection.
