What are the relative capacities of the facilities? And is the Dane County
Coliseum so dumpy or inconvenient that someone who would go to the Kohl
Center would not go to the Dane County Coliseum?

If the crowd is small, it can look even smaller in a larger facility. The
Worcester Centrum is kinda dumpy too -- most uncomfortable (plastic) seats
I've sat on in a long time, but the size worked well; the 12,500 for the
Saturday games gave it a "full house" feel, but that same size crowd
would've looked a bit sparse in, say the Fleet Center. Also, it seems to me
to be better to not have the tournament on someone's home rink, after the
flap last year over North Dakota's "home" game at Yost Arena. You can't
prevent a "neutral" facility being more convenient for one team and its
fans, but you can make sure that it's not "home turf."
