Absolutely serious.  Grant was pulled near the middle of the period for what
seemed like a long period to send the team a message.  Coach Morris has done
this in the past.  If the team isn't playing like it deserves a goalie, then
they don't get a goalie.  I haven't heard any interviews whether this is why
he pulled Grant, but that would have to be my guess.
 
Frankly, I like the fact that he doesn't stop *coaching* just because its the
final four.  The game was basically out of reach at that point any way (in
reality, the score was 6-2 at that point).  It did have the effect of keeping
offensive pressure on the UMaine net, which the Knights had been unable to do
since the first period.  Kariya's hat trick goal was scored into an empty net.
 
The obvious key in this game was Maine's first line.  Just phenominal.
