The refs got this one right. Offsides is negated when the defensive team puts the puck into their own zone, even if opposing players are still in the zone as well. UNH had this same rule work against them two years ago. Against BU, with the regular season title on the line, UNH's Tom Nolan brought the puck back into the UNH zone when the entire BU team was still their. They promptly stole the puck from Nolan and scored to tie the game. The game, and the regular season title, remained tied.

In a between periods interview, Jerry York said that Clemmensen came into this series as confident as he has ever been in his carreer. It showed in his play.
