Yep, but the remainder of the ECAC playoff picture is still incredibly
tight.
 
Consider that the contenders for the other home ice (2<-->5) slots (CLK,
COL, RPI, COR, BRN, HVD, PRN) are playing one another repeatedly down the
stretch.  This will be a fun finish to what has been a very balanced year
in the ECAC.
 
In addition to Yale, four of the above-named squads will likely be at
Placid.  There is no favorite.  A realistic scenario still may put 4 ECAC
teams into the NCAA tourny (Yale and the PS champion with auto-bids, RS #'s
2 and 3 with PWR seeds), so this stretch drive also has ramifications
throughout the NCAA for the bubble teams in each conference.  Throw in
RPI's guaranteed placement in Albany no matter what, and you have the
makings of some east squad waking up extremely unhappy in Michigan...
