Perhaps more eloquent and definive than any statement made on this
subject in Hockey-L to date, is the news that three scholars
apparently will forego their final year at Michigan for pro hockey.
And, I heard on NPR this morning that some of the scholars on the
Arizona basketball team are opting to leave for the pros without
completing their degrees too.  Does that shed a little
light on the interrelationship of athletics and academics at
Sportsylvania University, or what?
